The recent case study, Kowloon Walled City, delves into the the sad but intriguing history of the infamous neighborhood in Hong Kong. Once known as the most densely populated place on Earth, the city was riddled with crime and poverty, yet it is a prime example of how not to build a healthy urban environment. Through this project, we aim to explore what makes a good urban city, and how lessons from the past can inform future urban development.
